Crash Landing! Private plane makes emergency landing at Birmingham's BHX Airport after landing gear fails!
Breaking: Birmingham Airport (BHX) was temporarily shut down on August 6, 2025, after a private King Air G-NIAA aircraft experienced landing gear failure upon arrival.
Runway 33 was the scene of the emergency landing, prompting a swift response from airport fire crews and local emergency services.
All crew members were safely evacuated.
Birmingham Airport has been closed until at least 7pm.
The undercarriage failed and the plane skidded to a stop.
