A small plane made an emergency landing at Birmingham Airport on August 6, halting runway operations and triggering major delays.

The Beech B200 Super King Air, bound for Belfast, landed around 1:40 p.m. after the pilot declared an in-flight emergency.

One person sustained minor injuries. Flights were suspended until around 6–7 p.m., with diversions and delays reported.

Emergency services responded swiftly, and a formal investigation is now underway. Passengers were advised to check flight statuses.
