SOLDIERS SHAKING HANDS (TWO SHOTS) TBILISI, GEORGIA (AUG. 6, 2025) (USERS MUST CREDIT “GEORGIAN DEFENSE MINISTRY” HANDOUT, MUST NOT OBSCURE LOGO —EDITORIAL USE ONLY) The Georgia phase of the multinational military exercise Agile Spirit 2025, which began on July 25 and included armed forces from 11 countries, has concluded on Wednesday, August, 6 with a ceremony. In a written statement, the Georgian Ministry of Defense said that armed forces from 11 countries, including Türkiye, Georgia, and the United States, took part in the exercise. It was noted that the exercise, hosted by Georgia for the 12th time, has come to an end and a ceremony was held at the Vaziani Military Base to mark the occasion. At the ceremony, Deputy Commander of the Georgian Defense Forces Major General Irakli Chichinadze and Commander of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Georgia National Guard in the U.S., Brigadier General Chris Marshall, delivered speeches. Some military vehicles that participated in the exercise were displayed at the event. The statement said that while the exercise began in Türkiye on July 21, the Georgian phase was jointly conducted by the U.S. and Georgian armed forces.
