While walking through the bustling Gold Souk in Dubai, travel creator Chenel Lee captured a moment of quiet empathy that has since gone viral, amassing over 5 million views on Instagram.

In the video, a man is seen turning on a water pipe for a stray cat, allowing it to drink in peace. He then stands patiently, watching over the animal until it finishes, before gently turning the tap off.

“It was so wholesome,” Chenel wrote. “Just walking through the souk, and saw this wonderful man full of empathy.”
