Rope swing goes wrong as young boy try to plunge into river
This is the hilarious moment a rope swing plunge went wrong when a young boy tried to leap into a river.
A group of youngsters, accompanied by adults, were playing by the creek in Nueva Ecija, the Philippines.
Footage captured by Jastin Jay Pascual shows a teenager preparing to swing into the water using a rope tied to a tree on June 8.
Moments later, the group lifted the small child to reach the wooden handle, readying him for a splash.
However, as they pushed him forward, the boy lost his grip and toppled headfirst onto the riverbank, taking down a nearby man who tried to catch him.
Both ended up tumbling into the water as the group burst into fits of laughter at the comical mishap.
The boy stood up afterward, visibly sore and rubbing his body.
Jastin said: 'The boy was okay. He was hurt from the fall but didn't sustain any injuries.'
