US, Bakersfield: Frazier Park Structure Fire Sparks Small Wildfire
Bakersfield, United States - August 07, 2025 08/07/2025 01:16 am GMT-0700 FRAZIER PARK, Calif. – A reported structure fire resulted in a total loss early Thursday morning near the 700 block of West End Drive, not far from a Kern County Fire Department substation. The fire was first reported at 1:16 a.m. Flames spread from the building into nearby grass and brush, eventually growing to nearly three acres. Ground and air resources were deployed to battle the blaze. Kern County Fire and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the incident, with the Kern County Sheriff's Office and California Highway Patrol assisting with evacuation warnings. Crews began gaining control of the fire around 3 a.m., and it now appears to be under control.
