US, Los Angeles: San Fernando Valley DWP Crews Continue to Work Through the Night After Water Outage
Los Angeles, United States - August 07, 2025 08/07/2025 12:00 am GMT-0700 SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, Calif. – A valve failure in the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power system left many residents without running water overnight. DWP crews delivered bottled water to a designated community pickup station to assist those impacted by the outage. Meanwhile, workers were seen in the area operating pumps and inspecting equipment as part of the ongoing repair efforts. LAFD water tenders and wildfire mutual aid resources were also spotted nearby, pre-staged as a precaution. SOT from a mutual aid firefighter staged in the area.
