Footage shows dramatic Spider-Man stunt scenes being filmed on Glasgow streets
Video shows dramatic stunt scenes for the Spider-Man movie being filmed in Glasgow - as the Marvel hero car-surfs along a street 'fighting off bad guys'.
The high-octane scenes were filmed on Bothwell Street in the city centre, which has been transformed into the streets of New York City.
NYPD police cars can be seen pursuing the action hero as he perches on top of a black car while an army tank speeds ahead.
The 29-year-old resident, who filmed the footage, said: "It's very cool seeing up close the inner workings of the film industry and having Spider-Man being filmed literally right underneath me. "
"As a big fan of the Spider-Man franchise and Tom Holland, it's not something I expected to see in Glasgow."
"But it's great that the city is able to attract productions like this and hopefully it continues."
Earlier this week, English actor Tom Holland, who plays the titular character, took a break from filming the movie, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day', to high-five young fans and pose for photos in full costume.
The movie, which will see Holland reprise his role alongside fiancée Zendaya, who plays love interest MJ, is set to release in July 2026.
Filming is expected to continue for the next two weeks.
