This is the incredible moment a Thai film director tossed thousands of pounds in cash to villagers after his movie became a box office hit.

Thiti Srinuan, director of the film 'The Undertaker', vowed to give back to the public if his ticket sales reached 50 million baht (1.15 million GBP).

When the milestone was reached, he and his crew celebrated the success by throwing 200,000 baht (4,600 GBP) to villagers in an event in Sakon Nakhon on October 30.

Footage shows Thiti perched on top of a truck with his staff hurling banknotes into the cheering crowd.
