8. VARIOUS OF FUNERAL PRAYERS FOR DEAD IN HOSPITAL’S COURTYARD GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - AUGUST 10: On Sunday, August 10, funerals were held in northern Gaza for 27 Palestinians who were killed in Israeli attacks, including those who died while waiting for humanitarian aid in the Zikim area.

Mourners collected the bodies from the morgue at Al-Shifa Hospital before holding funeral prayers.

Israel has been facing mounting outrage over its deadly war on Gaza, where more than 61,300 people have been killed since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave and brought it to the verge of famine.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
