In video shows, on Sunday, Aug. 10, search and rescue teams pulling a person from the rubble of a collapsed structure in Sindirgi district of the Balikesir province, in western Türkiye. Emergency crews, including AFAD units and local firefighters, continue operations in the affected area to locate any trapped individuals and assess structural damage. According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency, the earthquake was centered in Sindirgi district of the Balikesir province, in western Türkiye. The earthquake was measured at a depth of 11 kilometers (6.8 miles). Ali Yerlikaya, the country’s interior minister, said that in preliminary evaluations, no casualties had been reported, but one building collapsed in Sindirgi.
