This is the shocking moment a truck skidded off a wet road before crashing into an oncoming car.

The flatbed lorry lost control on the slippery curved motorway and crashed into the passing black hatchback in Ryazan, Russia.

Dashcam footage, recorded by a family driving behind the truck, shows the vehicle skidding as it navigates the bend on July 1.

The trailer veered out of its lane and side-swiped the car on the opposite side of the narrow highway.

The impact visibly damaged the side of the hatchback.

After the collision, the truck driver slowed down and steered off the road, while the family who witnessed the crash immediately pulled over to offer assistance.

Local media reported that no one was injured in the incident.
