This is the shocking moment a toddler opened a car door and fell onto a busy road at a junction.

Helmet-mounted camera footage shows a black pickup truck making a left turn at an intersection when the young girl suddenly pulled open the door in Chumphon, Thailand.

She can be seen holding tightly onto the handle before plunging into the middle of the road as the car panel swung open on August 6.

The pickup driver immediately stopped, while a quick-thinking traffic enforcer halted passing vehicles to assist the youngster as other cars honked to alert others.

The officer rushed to the child, carried her, and handed the girl to her worried mother.
