US, Los Angeles: Sherman Oaks Female Driver Shears Hydrant and Hits Power Pole
Los Angeles, United States - August 09, 2025 08/09/2025 01:36 am GMT-0700 SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department responded to a traffic collision on the 5200 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a Toyota Camry had sheared off a fire hydrant and struck a power pole. The damaged hydrant sent water shooting into the air. The flow of water was turned off quickly by fire department crews. The cause of the crash remains unknown, and it has not been determined whether the driver was under the influence. The woman did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
