Golfers Keep Swinging As Fire Rages On Arthur’s Seat In Edinburgh
On August 10, 2025, a fire broke out on the hillside of Arthur’s Seat, the iconic Edinburgh landmark.
A video filmed nearby shows golfers at a driving range continuing their practice, seemingly unfazed as thick smoke and flames rise behind them.
Arthur’s Seat is a well-known spot, drawing locals and visitors for its stunning views throughout the year.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service believes the fire was probably sparked by human activity.
One observer noted, “Arthur Seat being used to distract hibs throwing away a lead… as per.”
