A couple used the colour of their Starbucks drink for their gender reveal.

Joy Sicio, her husband, and their son dined at a coffee shop in Honolulu, Hawaii, to find out the gender of their baby.

Footage shows them sitting close together, facing the camera with their boy in the middle on July 24.

Joy, visibly excited, told her partner that if it tasted like a matcha frappe, it would mean a boy, and if it was a strawberry frappe, it would mean a girl.

They then sipped from the same frappe at the same time, opening their eyes and jumping in their seats in shock as they realised the flavour of the beverage.

As soon as they tasted the strawberry drink, they learned they were expecting a baby girl.

The couple can be seen smiling at the news and continuing to drink the frappe in delight while her sister shows the ultrasound of their baby.

Joy said: 'Big thanks to my sister, who is a manager at Starbucks Kapiolani.'
