Monkey eats banana on back of pickup truck in Thailand
A wild monkey ate a banana it found lying on the back of a pickup truck in Thailand.
The primate hopped onto the vehicle stuck in heavy traffic before spotting the bunch of fruit in Lopburi province, Thailand on October 23.
Footage shows the macaque biting the ends of the banana while the car was stopped in a traffic jam.
It took more bites and observed the surroundings before fleeing as the truck slowly moved forward when traffic cleared.
Lopburi has become a popular tourist destination because of its large population of monkeys. The monkeys are mostly long-tailed macaques, and they can be found all over the city, from the temples to the streets.
However, they can also be aggressive and have been known to steal food and belongings.
