Medics rush to help woman giving birth in a car
This is the heartwarming moment medics rushed to assist a woman giving birth inside a car.
Louis Arvin Lucas and his team swiftly provided care to both the newborn twins and their mother at Encita Lying-in Clinic in Cavite, Philippines.
Footage shows the obstetric nurse gently rubbing the crying infant's chest while comforting the mother, who lies motionless with her legs sprawled inside the car's passenger seat on August 11.
Despite being barefoot, the devoted midwife rushed directly from outside the clinic to attend to the woman and her babies.
Meanwhile, another physician carefully carries one of the children, swaddled in a green cloth, toward the health centre to clean and tend to the newborns.
Louis, one of the physicians, recalled that the woman had only discovered she was carrying twins on the very day of delivery.
'They waited in their car at the hospital, but she could no longer hold it in and went into labour without prior check-ups or us knowing her full case.
'When moments like this happen, you don't even think about your slippers—you just run.
'She came straight here to the clinic, already with her baby in her arms. Both mother and babies are now in good condition.'
