First-time parents Brayan Baltazar and Jalaiza Baltazar hosted a joyful gathering with family and friends to find out the gender of their baby by playing tic-tac-toe in Bulacan, Philippines.

Footage captured by Jamaica Jane Aldaya shows the delighted soon-to-be dad flipping a disc on the board, unveiling a baby bear dressed in a blue jumper, prompting him to leap and cheer on August 3.

His wife, seven months pregnant at the time, followed suit by turning over another game piece, revealing a picture of a girl bear cub in a pink dress.

One of their friends, Janine, could be seen brimming with excitement as she had placed a bet with someone on whether the baby would be a boy or a girl.

As the couple flipped all eight discs hanging on the board, the crowd erupted in cheers, eagerly anticipating the sex of the child.

Finally, the couple simultaneously lifted the last marker, confirming that their firstborn would be a daughter.

The expectant parents embraced before Brayan removed his blue polo, revealing a pink shirt underneath, prompting cheers from their family and friends.

Jamaica said: 'Some people assumed the father was disappointed because he appeared momentarily emotionless when the game revealed they were having a girl. In reality, that brief pause was him bowing his head in gratitude to God.

'What many didn't notice is that Brayan had prepared a sweet surprise. While outwardly showing support for 'Team Boy' in his blue long-sleeved polo, he had a pink shirt hidden underneath, ready for the grand reveal.'
