A shopper found a B&M's chocolate stock to be seemingly completely melted during the current heatwave.

Jodie Guttridge, 34, spotted a shelf full of bars in her local store this week (August 12) amid the hot weather.

She was visiting the store at Danum Retail Park in Doncaster, South Yorks., to get her daughter a lunchbox.

But when she arrived, she noticed how hot it was in the shop - before seeing the melted chocolate bars.

Her video shows an entire row of chocolates melted to goo in the heat.

Jodie, from Doncaster, said: "It was pretty gross. The chocolate was completely melted. I was bending the packaging over the shelves. "

"Some had firmed up as it cooled down in the evening, but you could see the oil from the chocolate seeping through the wrappers in the Biscoff bars which means they had been like that for a while!"

Jodie estimates it was "at least 28C" in the store and even asked some of the staff about the items."

She said: "The girl at the checkout said it's always this warm. I would say it was at least 28C"
