US, Los Angeles: Pacific Palisades Water Main Break in Wildfire Burn Area
Los Angeles, United States - August 14, 2025 08/13/2025 10:22 pm GMT-0700 PACIFIC PALISADES, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of flooding at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Palisades Drive. Firefighters arrived to find that an underground water main had broken, causing water to flow beneath the street. The flooding led to damage in the roadway, prompting water to flow down the street. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was requested to the scene to assist with repairs. The Los Angeles Department of Transportation was also on scene, diverting traffic as crews worked to address the situation.
