Phoenix, United States - August 13, 2025 08/13/2025 01:30 pm GMT-0700 SURPRISE, Ariz. – Surprise Firefighters and Police responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Cotton Road and West Bell Road around 1:30 p.m. When first responders arrived, they found a sedan with severe front-end damage. Police officers reported a large amount of vehicle debris strewn across the roadway, along with a large pickup truck that had all its airbags deployed and significant damage. Firefighters quickly called for additional manpower to assist with multiple occupants involved in the crash. At least one person was evaluated and transported by Surprise medics. As a result of the collision, all northbound and southbound traffic on North Cotton Road was shut down in both directions. Surprise police are currently investigating what led to the crash, but no further details have been released.
