This is the hilarious moment woman lost control of an ATV and fell into the water.

The rider was maneuvering the four-wheeler with her friend on the pillion seat when they plunged into a pond at Sisumut Palm Oil Factory in North Sumatra, Indonesia.

Dramatic footage shows the novice driver engaging the throttle at the side of the pool while filming a movie on August 2.

She can be seen struggling to control the direction as both women scream in fear.

Despite a crew member's attempt to stop them, the ATV had already sped off down the waterway.

The pair plummeted headfirst, with the vehicle tipping over on impact.

Two men immediately jumped into the water to help the soaking women out and reposition the ATV.

Neither of them sustained any injuries from the comical mishap.

Heri Afriansyah, who captured the video, said: 'This video was taken during the filming of the Big Family Bonding of Wives at the plantation. The woman was not skilled at driving the vehicle, so they fell into the water.'
