This is the hilarious moment a woman tried to feed fish with loaves of bread — only to discover they were stale and rock-hard.

The kindhearted local had bought a basket of bread for the aquatic animals after offering a prayer at a temple in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.

After the visit, she and her friends went to a river behind the shrine to distribute the food on June 25.

Footage shows the woman struggling to tear the stubborn, rock-like bread apart with her hands.

She can be seen knocking it against a metal railing to break the loaves into smaller chunks before tossing them into the water.

Pigeons on the ground peck at the fallen crumbs while the fish below gather in a frenzy to feast on the loaves.
