This is the shocking moment a truck ploughed into stationary vehicles during a traffic jam in China.

Motorists were stuck on the busy road when the speeding lorry slammed into the parked white container truck in the outer lane of the G56 Hangrui Expressway in Guizhou.

Dashcam footage shows a red Volkswagen slowly manoeuvring between a white sedan and the idle truck while two men walked nearby on the motorway on August 8.

Moments later, the runaway red truck rear-ended the vehicle in front, narrowly missing the hatchback.

The white truck then skidded violently across the asphalt before tipping onto its side, while the lorry continued barreling down the highway.

Bystanders can be seen rushing to safety as the collision took place, while a woman filming from inside a car screamed in terror.

Police reported that 14 vehicles, including trucks, buses, and motorcycles, were involved, but no injuries were sustained.
