Mexico: Fire Erupts On Metro Train As Passengers Evacuated Onto Tracks In Mexico City
Mexico City, Mexico - August 15, 2025 A metro train came to an abrupt halt at Pino Suarez station after a fire broke out on the convoy during the night. The scene was filmed by Fabiola Llanos, showing the stationary train with its red tail lights glowing in the darkness. The footage also captures the platform edge, the dimly lit railway tracks, and a few people nearby. Debris or equipment can be seen scattered on the tracks. Fabiola Llanos stated: “Breaking news, Metro CDMX fire Pino Suarez. A metro convoy caught fire and passengers were evacuated onto the tracks. Line.”
