Phoenix, United States - August 16, 2025 08/16/2025 03:45 am GMT-0700 PEORIA, Ariz. – The Peoria Fire Department and police, along with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), responded early Saturday morning to a report of a rollover vehicle crash on Grand Avenue. The incident occurred just west of the Loop 101 on-ramp. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a vehicle with significant damage and a person trapped inside. Rescue teams quickly freed the individual, while the collision had destroyed the vehicle's front wheels and caused extensive damage to the center barrier wall. Westbound traffic on Grand Avenue was halted for an extended period as DPS officers and Peoria police officers worked to clear the debris from the roadway. The cause of the rollover, including whether impairment or speed factors were involved, remains under investigation.
