Japan: Building Fire in Osaka Kills Two Firefighters, Injures Others
A fire broke out on Monday, August 18, at a building along the Dotonborigawa river in Osaka’s Minami district, a bustling area popular with tourists, and spread to two adjacent buildings. Two firefighters were killed, and three other firefighters and a woman in a nearby restaurant were taken to hospital and reported in stable condition.
