Palestine supporters protest outside NBC building over Gaza journalist deaths
Palestine supporters gathered outside the NBC building in Washington, DC, to protest over the deaths of journalists in Gaza.
Footage shows a crowd of demonstrators calling for accountability over the news crew killed in an Israeli airstrike on August 10, while sheltering in a press tent near al-Shifa Hospital.
Several Palestinian flags could be seen among the protesters as they gathered outside the building on Tuesday, August 12.
Similar rallies and memorials were also held in Berlin, The Hague, Tunis, London, Oslo, and Stockholm.
Israel has blitzed the Gaza Strip in retaliation for an attack by the governing party Hamas on a Jewish music festival on October 7, 2023.
However, the situation, which Israel claims is self-defence, has attracted criticism from around the world.
Craig Mokhiber, a director at the United Nations, has resigned over the organsation's 'failure' to act against what he called a 'text-book case of genocide' by Israel against Gaza.
