This is the moment three tugboats dragged a giant cargo ship out of a port.

The towboats helped undock the 655.6 ft (199 m) MV CL Xuchang bulk carrier at Sasa International Seaport in Davao, the Philippines.

Footage shows synthetic towlines attached to the workboats, connected to each side of the freighter on July 14.

The tugboats can be seen carefully pulling the massive ship into position toward the open sea as it prepares to set sail.

Tugboats are specially designed to handle massive vessels like bulk carriers despite their small size. With powerful engines, reinforced hulls, and excellent manoeuvrability, they can guide ships in tight or shallow waters, ensuring safe navigation in and out of ports.
