The festival, dedicated to Madonna del Soccorso, reflects the devotion of the city’s early fisherman founders and has grown into one of Boston’s most iconic cultural celebrations. Participants joined processions, prayers, music and traditional food events, honoring the feast’s religious roots while celebrating the Italian-American heritage of the community.
