This is the adorable moment a toddler was spotted 'commanding' a model tank during Indonesia's Independence Day celebrations.

Footage captured by Saddam Ramadhan Gotama shows the little boy wearing a soldier's uniform with a matching hat aboard the miniature tank during a parade in West Java, Indonesia.

He can be seen sitting comfortably, looking around, before the parade starts on August 17.

Moments later, his father carefully pushed the vehicle along the streets, with his family walking alongside him.

Saddam said: 'One of the activities during the event was a ‘decorate your bicycle' competition for kids.

'Usually, children show up with their bikes dressed in all kinds of fun and patriotic designs, but the boy appeared in a stroller that his parents had decorated to look like a mini tank.

'It completely stole the show because it was so creative and unexpected. The crowd loved it, and everyone couldn't stop laughing and taking photos.'
