US, Phoenix: Phoenix Water Main Break Causes Flooding and Road Damage
Phoenix, United States - August 20, 2025 08/20/2025 02:30 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Police Department officers discovered a large water main break at the intersection of 2nd Street and McKinley Street around 2:30 a.m. Officers established closures in the area as water from the break flooded nearby streets. The break caused significant damage to the roadway on the northeast corner of the intersection. City of Phoenix Water Services workers responded to the scene to mitigate the break. Crews were able to secure the main around 3:00 a.m.
