United States - August 07, 2025 A routine traffic stop on US-277 led to a dramatic arrest when two illegal immigrants were discovered concealed in a vehicle’s trunk. A DPS trooper pulled over a gray Honda Accord, driven by Robin Annette McClanahan from Austin, Texas. The driver denied consent to search the vehicle. A U.S. Border Patrol K-9 unit was called to assist and alerted to the presence of hidden occupants. A search revealed two illegal immigrants inside the trunk. The driver, McClanahan, and passenger Myndi Mae Jordan from Fort Worth, Texas, were both charged with smuggling of persons. The two immigrants, from Ecuador and Guatemala, were handed over to the U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
