Los Angeles, United States - August 22, 2025 08/22/2025 02:46 am GMT-0700 WALNUT, Calif. – Authorities responded to a call for help from a residence in the 20800 block of Regency Court after a family reported an intruder in their home. Soon after the 911 call, deputies from the Walnut station arrived on the scene and apprehended one suspect as he was exiting the residence. A family member, who spoke off camera, recounted the harrowing experience. They were asleep when they were startled awake by noise, prompting them to immediately call 911. Fortunately, no family members were harmed during the incident. Firefighters and paramedics examined the suspect at the scene, but he was not transported to a hospital. It remains unclear whether the suspect sustained injuries as a result of the deputies' actions during the arrest or if he had a confrontation with family members inside the house.
