This is the dramatic moment a landslide crashes onto a road in front of shocked drivers in the Philippines.

Footage captured by Rose Ann Consebido shows part of a hillside slowly collapsing onto the roadway, with a truck and driver nearby in San Vicente, Palawan.

Rose Ann can be heard saying: 'There's more coming from above, it's huge. Oh my God. Let's back away.'

Local media reported that motorists were stranded in the area for around four hours, as debris blocked the route on the afternoon of August 21. No injuries were reported.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon caused the rainfall in the area and across Mindanao island, which likely triggered the landslide.
