Hays County Deputies End I-35 Pursuit Without Injuries
SAN MARCOS, Texas — The Hays County Sheriff’s Office safely ended a pursuit on Interstate 35 earlier this month after a reckless driver struck multiple vehicles, officials said.
The incident happened Aug. 6 when deputies temporarily shut down portions of the highway to protect other motorists while bringing the pursuit under control. The suspect was eventually stopped without injuries reported.
The interstate was reopened shortly after the incident. Sheriff’s officials reminded the public to always yield to emergency vehicles, emphasizing the importance of keeping roadways safe for all drivers.
