Los Angeles, United States - August 24, 2025 08/24/2025 12:00 am GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Early Sunday morning, several vehicles gathered for street "takeovers" across the San Fernando Valley. The Los Angeles Police Department received multiple reports throughout the night about large groups, sometimes up to 200 people, blocking intersections and performing "burnouts" and "donuts." A vehicle collision involving an LAPD unit took place while law enforcement responded to one of the gatherings at the intersection of Terra Bella Street and Foothill Boulevard. Witnesses reported that the vehicle involved was fleeing the scene of the takeover when the collision occurred.
