Los Angeles, United States - August 24, 2025 08/24/2025 07:43 am GMT-0700 CAMARILLO, Calif. – Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of potential hate crime-related graffiti vandalism at Community Center Park, located at the intersection of Carmen Drive and Modesto Avenue. Upon arrival, a deputy discovered racist, lewd, and anti-Semitic graffiti on a utility box and a sign. The deputy also found a can of matching red spray paint in a nearby trash can. A resident approached the deputy, suggesting that the vandalism could be linked to a recent altercation he had with a neighbor. However, deputies were unable to verify his claims. A representative from the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Parks District arrived quickly and began the process of painting over and removing the graffiti. No further details are available at this time.
