Elderly man rides his motorcycle onto freshly poured cement
An elderly man was spotted riding his motorcycle onto a freshly poured stretch of cement.
Road construction workers tried to stop the pensioner from navigating the wet motorway in Hubei, China, on August 16.
Footage shows the stubborn rider accelerating uphill, but the vehicle's tyres became stuck and sank deeper, forcing him to struggle to move it.
The wheels left marks in the process that damaged the new road surface.
Moments later, the laborers rushed to help him and remove the motorcycle so the damaged section could be repaired.
The workers said: 'We could only assist him out of the wet concrete and redo the work ourselves.'
