This is the shocking moment a reckless motorcycle rider crashes at a level crossing as a train approaches.

CCTV footage shows railway worker Tran Thi Thuy walking toward the crossing gate and pulling it across the road to signal vehicles to stop in Vietnam.

Moments later, a speeding motorcyclist slams into the barrier, bending it on impact and tumbling onto the tracks on August 22, at 9:28 pm in Long Khanh, Dong Nai province.

Quick-thinking Thuy immediately grabbed the signal lamp and bravely ran toward the oncoming locomotive to alert the driver.

Her colleague, Vi Thi Dien then rushed to pull the 17-year-old rider to safety. Locals quickly stepped in to help reset the damaged gate.

The staff quickly cleared the track and closed the gates, allowing the train to roar through moments later, without causing any damage.

Authorities urged road users to obey warning signals and exercise greater caution at railway crossings to prevent similar incidents.
