According to reports, multiple students were in the area when a fight occurred, which prompted the Cal State Northridge Police and the Los Angeles Police Department to respond. Residential advisors secured the area to manage the situation. KNN video shows a male student detained and subsequently checked by medical personnel. The exact details of the altercation remain unclear at this time. Students took to social media saying two individuals were in a fight when another stepped in, ultimately being tased by police, which remains unconfirmed.
