Los Angeles, United States - August 25, 2025 08/25/2025 12:42 am GMT-0700 MISSION HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol officers responded to a reported crash on the I-5 North and Rinaldi, involving a motorcycle on the freeway. Upon arrival, firefighters found the motorcycle engulfed in flames in the slow lane. The rider was located standing safely on the right shoulder. Despite the dramatic incident, the rider suffered only a minor cut to his foot. It appears that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. For unknown reasons, the rider lost control, causing the bike to slide down the freeway and catch fire. CHP temporarily closed the freeway to allow crews to clean up the wreck. The rider was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution. No further details have been provided.
