Ashley Tyler’s TikTok clip of her husband taking pest control into his own hands has electrified the internet, amassing 627,600 views in mere hours.

With no exterminator available for days, he climbed a ladder at dawn, rigged their electric fly swatter through a gap behind the brick wall, and proceeded to torch the yellow-jacket nest while the insects lay dormant. Viewers can hear each satisfying zap as the nest succumbs to high-voltage justice.

Ashley told Newsflare: “We weren’t able to get an exterminator out for another day or two, so my resourceful husband used what we had to show them who’s boss!”

We had an ongoing issue with yellow jackets building a nest behind our brick wall. We called many exterminators but none could come out within the next couple of days so my husband got creative. He is the king of being resourceful and woke up at around 5am to climb the ladder and and rig up our electric fly swatter while the bees were not yet active.
