The footage shows a tipped-over piano, twisted metal tubes, and debris scattered across the site. The storm, with winds reaching 52 mph, swept through on Saturday night during the event, which runs from August 24 to September 1, 2025. Despite the destruction, the Burning Man community has committed to rebuilding. Plans include continuing with fewer tents and shade structures. @meltonjohnart car remarked, “Who’s afraid of a little dust and 50% less shade structures when we rebuild? We had this carnage removed and had a great live music piano party two hours after this video.”
