The footage begins with two deputies conducting a traffic stop and inspecting a vehicle after smelling marijuana. During the search, a man inside tosses a backpack to another man waiting outside, who immediately sprints down the street. As the deputy gives chase, a minivan pulls up alongside with its door open. The driver shouts, “Get in!” The deputy quickly grabs a handle inside the vehicle, and the driver accelerates to help him catch up to the suspect. The deputy reaches the fleeing man and deploys a Taser, successfully making the arrest. The sheriff’s office thanked the anonymous driver, dubbing him “the most legendary ride-share driver in history.”
