This is the amusing moment a helpful pet dog received a parcel at a gate from a deliveryman.

CCTV footage shows the delivery rider calling Naia Marina, the Shih Tzu, for the packages ordered online by her owners in Cavite, the Philippines.

The three-year-old, excitable pooch in a grey onesie then sprinted toward the man and waited at the gate as he dropped the items over the metal barricade on July 31.

Naia Marina can be seen watching the worker and barking before sniffing the black plastic bags laid on the ground.

The deliveryman can be heard saying: 'Thank you,' in the video before driving away.

After handing over the two parcels, the canine carefully grabbed the large bag in her mouth and dragged it from the gate into the house.

Pet owner Mheii Celiz said: 'She quickly learned how to receive the parcels because all the deliveries are under her name. Whenever a rider arrives, they call Naia, and she comes out. That's why all the riders know her.'
