Sargodha, Pakistan - August 27, 2025 A high-level flood is sweeping through the River Chenab at Kot Momin, Sargodha, with a massive 300,000 cusecs water flow posing a severe threat to over 41 villages, including Takht Hazara and Midh Ranjha. The Pakistan Army, Rescue 1122, and district administration teams are actively engaged in rescue and relief operations, relocating affected residents to safer locations. At Khanki, water levels have risen to a dangerous 975,000 cusecs, heightening fears of further devastation.
