In Gaza City, two Palestinians were killed and others injured when an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the al-Daraj neighborhood in the city center. Another nine people were wounded when warplanes struck a tent next to the Sheikh Radwan cemetery in the north of the city. In southern Gaza, two women were killed in an Israeli strike on tents sheltering displaced families in the al-Qadisiyah camp west of Khan Younis. Elsewhere in Khan Younis, three more Palestinians, including a child and a young woman, were killed and others wounded when an Israeli strike hit a tent sheltering displaced people in the Asdaa area north of the city. The Israeli army shot and killed four Palestinians and wounded others while they were waiting for humanitarian aid west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Witnesses also reported that Israeli forces were demolishing homes and civilian properties in parts of the enclave alongside the airstrikes. Israel has killed nearly 63,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
