Cats nap with bellies exposed and limbs splayed
This is the adorable moment cats nap with their bellies exposed and limbs splayed.
Robelyn Alejo spotted her three tabbies named Kiba, Ashley, and Bubly lying on their backs on the bed in Manila, the Philippines.
Footage shows the three felines comfortably resting with their front paws in the air and bellies up on August 12.
Robelyn said: 'They are used to sleeping in that position. They are so clingy and affectionate and love to sleep in the bed.'
Cats usually sleep belly-up when they feel completely safe and relaxed in their environment. Exposing the belly, a vulnerable area, signals trust toward their owners or surroundings. This position also allows them to stretch out their muscles, cool down, and regulate body temperature.
